The New Nasty
The Spark is still my favorite bike, 110mm of plush travel and super lightweight. So every year I build up a new one and this is the finest one so far. I used a 140mm Talas fork so I can switch between 120-140mm of travel. Since the bike climbs best with the fork at 120mm I am set, and when it's pointed downhill the 140mm travel makes it bomber. Also key is the remote Joplin post. The single most important adjustment you can make on a bike is the seat height, and dropping this one make the bike more TRAIL worthy.
New for me this year are the WTB tires. A little on the heavy side but they grip so good and the bike is super light anyways, I like traction. Still using Dual Control, I'm going to be bummed to let this stuff go since Shimano ditched it.
Happy trails, ride often-
Chimp
